I have recently started gardening again, and I love playing with soil with my bare hands.. :p and colors in my tiny garden. All of them are potted. My garden has been looking so dreadful for the longest time. So I think these blooms add so much colors and cheer to the garden.

Thanks for dropping by… hugs to all.. Happy Sunday. :)

Little giftees for colleagues…

A brooch, hair pin and a rose band

Hi all,

Just sharing some little felty flowers I made .. for a hair band, hair pin, brooch as giftees to colleagues. I have just stopped working .. ! I shall miss most of fabbie colleagues except for some bad apples whose life just thrive on putting others down, so they can feel good about themselves.. so sad aint it!

Feeling blessed that I can afford to take a break, loving and supportive hubby, I now set sights to have more relaxation time, take care of my health n self, and have more crafty time :)

I made these for my colleagues and friend, as promised.. my very first try… so here it is .. .the little fun ones.. I need to practise and make more :)

Hope you like them..

Hugs… great day ahead!!!

I am grateful for these moments….

monarch butterfly.. I heart this :)

Hey all :)

Happy morning.. today I share a simple card I made for myself {smile}, yeah..some pamper me time :D

A very simple and quick essemble.. no stamping at all.. :) just a little play in the morning as I awake.

I had just gotten this gorgeous Quikcutz Monarch butterfly, that I had been eyeing for ages, and it finally came to my LSS.. Hugs to you Elizabeth, for letting me know :) .

I was inspired with the use of butterfly at CASE Study Challenge #49. Had been meaning to play, so I did this morning :) , first time playing CASE Study. I had die cut this beauty on a coaster material, embellish it with prima rose, lay it over the doily :) . I had used prima pp.. I am just in love with Jack & Jill line, so soft and pretty… I cut it to size to fit my 41/4 by 5.5 in card, used my finger and versamark ink to run the edges of the pp.. oh so fun!. An I had gotten this sentiment from stash and put a strip of lace with it…. done in less than 15min.

I love the softness, a little for myself, that I am grateful for these crafty moments :D . Okie.. gotta run. Thanks for dropping .. love and hugs…

this is entered for Papertake Weekly – anything goes :)

Blogger-versary Candy :)

Hanami Bloom on the handmade crocheted doily

Hi peeps..

So today, I share this card I made.. . I have crocheted this doily and make this red hana-ami bloom. and piece them together with a brad. The background is stamped with PTI. I have used this lovely fabric tape that I had gotten from Practicing Creativity Design. Finished it off with another border die cut and sentiment from pti. I am entering this for anything goes challenge by Paperminutes and Let’s  ink it up :) and flowers at Pixie Cottage.

My crafty blogging journey (began 16th Feb 2010):

I cant believe that time has passed us by so quickly. Its almost a year now since I have started blogging and this has been an amazing journey. I must admit that when I first started it was to learn and improve card making. I didnt want to attend class, and I have that “can do attitude” .. nothing is too hard right.. so I just jumped into card challenges, and they require for you to have a blog.. and thats how I got started.. Though my first post wasnt card making, it was during the Chinese New Year, when I was away in my hometown.

Now, Blogging is a network of talented crafters and friends, who shares their creations, lives and thoughts. It has been amazing, all the new friends I have made through crafting and blogging :) . Peeps.. I still cant believe all your wonderful creations.. Its like unwrapping presents daily when I visit you :)

Thanks for always leaving me such beautiful comments and as an appreciation, I am offering this little candy.. (highlights are my crocheted doilies, hana-ami blooms and yo yo blooms – I will make some more hana-ami blooms.. I only have three at the time I took this picture )

So do leave me a comment, and it will be great that you could follow me on Google Reader (coz I am using WordPress, and I cant really see my blogspot followers ) and I will draw the candy on the 16th of February(this is my actual Bloggerversary day :) )…. good luck :) !

One for 2S4Y

multi coloured ones.. the green was the first.. It got better with practise :)

hi peeps,

Have been feeling a little under the weather.. and I made some flowers to lift my spirit!!! Craft therapy is great, aint it. :) .

I found this hana-ami loom when I went to get a ball of white wool that had finished from my doily project and I made this lovely find.. Its so easy to make and I love the look of it. All you need to do it loops and some basic sewing. very fun, gotta to try it!

I made this card for 2S4Y, I was sad to hear the news that this will be their last.. coz they always have fabulous sketches and wonderful submissions.  I had to play this one, a lovely sketch by Kazan :) .

Thanks for dropping by :D .. Have a great week ahead.

Doily thanks :)

Hi peeps..

Just wanna say thanks for always dropping by and leaving me such wonderful love. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, for always supporting my journey craft and making my day. :)

This card is simple.. inspired by Clean & Simple stamping sketch 123 challenge and Day 319 stitching (with twine) by 365 cards. See the crochet doily… I have made them over the last two weeks. It takes an hour to make one :p. I am still learning but enjoying trying different things.

Some other colours that I had made :) Enjoy… have a great weekend !
