Welcome Home…

Day 118 Ransom Note, Clear & Simple ftl 96, Sew Many Challenges – Anything goes

Hei all… Happy Weekend, how time flies, when you busy, busy, busy!:)

Today, I took a break from my project to make a card, before I start work on my presentation.. well you know as a motivation and reason to craft :p.

I was thrilled to see the challenge at 365 cards that requires us to sentiment from newspaper or magazine.. and I had decided to use the lovely sketch by Clean & Simple and participate at Sew Many Challenges.

I was going thru the Rotarian magazine.. and this bright, and intriging picture caught my eyes. It has gorgeous background colour and I had decided right away to use this.

I had it cut out, overlay it over a teared patterned paper from the stash and adhere it to a kraft base. I had cut out an immigration stamp from the same article and adventure and adhere it. I taken out my clearart stamp of Paris and stamp the immigration stamp on it, reflecting travels.

I had used a Sizzix alphabets dies that I had gotten from super talented crafter Amy(Amy, I love this one 😀 ) ” welcome” and “Home”, is another cut out from the magazine but from a different article.  What is more welcoming to a traveller, weary journey than a home full of love (shimmer paper of family/neighbour cut out) and hot coffee (on my couch, pti):D.

I totally enjoyed this project and it was so much fun browsing through the magazine, and realising what a treasure they are to crafting. 😀

Happy, Happy Crafting weekend :D.

welcome home 😀
