Thanks always for dropping by and leaving me such beautiful love. Bye 2010 and welcome 2011 🙂
My first valentine card series for 2011…. A very simple one, inspired by Cardabilities Sketch #18. I had used WPlus 9 stamp for this. Love the lovebirds.. and the sentiment is from pti. Was super duper excited when the parcel came today. Just had to get my hands on it :). The heart borders are from Bazzill. Have had this for the longest time and I am so glad to be able to play with it today.
I am a little behind time on everything since Christmas due to family matters.. but I will be responding to some of you kind awards and tagging.. please be patient with me… I am so glad to share that all is well at home, and felt so blessed in so many ways. 🙂
1st… thanks for your love and wishes and prayers. My grandma.. she is a fighter.. she has recovered wonderfully from her pneumonia and heart failure. She is now out Intensive Care Unit and recovering in the normal ward and expected to be discharged by end of this week :).
Secondly.. .the altered project I did last week. This is for my goddaughter.. her Christmas present :). I totally enjoyed the making this. I hope she likes it.
I had gotten a notepad from the bookstore, and decorated it with Webster pp, Tim Holt die cuts and K&C butterflies, prima & moof blooms and love this fabric thickers from American Crafts.
I have yet to meet up with her this Christmas season, but will do so within the twelve days of Christmas :p.
Happy day all.. lots of things to catch up on.. laters ! 🙂
Hi peeps..Blessed Christmas, thanks for all the wishes 🙂
Sharing this from my hometown in Sitiawan, Perak… :). Sharing some crafty work.. and also to share some distressing news from home!
My maternal grandma is critically ill in the local hospital. We are praying for her recovery and for her strength to weather through this difficult time. She is suffering from old age condition of hypertension, weak heart, kidney failure, diabetes and pneumonia at the moment. She is in ICU and the next couple of days are crucial to her recovery. We hope also to respect her wishes. We would love for her to come home and be with the family again :).
Some light moments..
The good thing about freelancing.. .and also the current telemarketing project I am on, is that I can work from anywhere. I have decided to spend additional days at hometown during this Christmas season, and I am able to work from here too :). M only missing craft.. this round.
I am sharing my first altered project… just a simple ones that I had done :). First time playing with acrylic paint too.. :). The materials are die cuts from Tim Holtz.. Butterflies are from K&C, and pti stamp. Love the prima blooms and white leaves and bloom cut outs from talented Teacher Jessy. Thanks for the goodies dear :). These were made for the Christmas gathering after caroling a week ago, I did it like the morning on the day that we are going caroling at noon:). A speedy one. They were meant to be the exchanged presents! Hope you like them 🙂
I remember as a child, loving the Christmas season, for its decoration. My grandma would make us put up all the Christmas trinklets of gold, silver, blue, green and red and all the ruffles. We lived in a large old shophouse that has grown with age, and practicality rules the day!. We would put up our silver Christmas tree ( I think its the only one in town, for it was brought in by my nursing aunt who worked in London). We would put all the Christmas cards received on string (talk about banners of cards :p) hovering over our sofa set and wall. We always looked forward to our Christmas mails from aunties across the sea, pen pals from around the world.. small but wonderful treats for us then … I am still smiling 🙂
Today I share this card using Sew Many Cards (SMC) digi – Letter with Berries, reminding me of all these childhood memories of Christmas and today.. since I started crafting, I have received many happy mails (from crafters and craft companies :p) fills me with such delight. 😀
A very short one esp for my cutest nephew.. Jischnu.. for his birthday… on Christmas Day. I wont be celebrating it with him coz I will be travelling to my hometown to celebrate Christmas with my parents tomorrow. He is a Christmas boy and he is just adorable. I made this card for him.. ♥
