I have been so rather busy with my new job and I have asked Pam of 365cards to take Monday DT spot @365cards. That gives me a lot more time in the weekend to craft :)…. Thanks Pam, you are such a darling, and Heidi, sad to see you leave the team, wishing you all the best. Let your dreams take flight :).
Today’s challenge is DIY embellishments using punches – so using at least one paper punch (any shape, any style) create an embellishment – add glitter or a button maybe. Or stack them – whatever you want. And then add that embellishment to the card..
I have used MS punches to create a 3D double layer butterfly, and decorated it with button and twine. I focused on the embellishment creation and a pop of red background and button to give it a colourful yet subtle look. This design has been inspired by Less is More sketch. Hope you like this little babe!
So do hop on by and play with us.. take out your punches and create an embellishment and play! 🙂 Have fun! It beats the Monday blues 😀
I managed to squeeze in some time to make this gift for a friend, a Wedding Guestbook. This gorgeous couple, Kelvin and Sherene theme for their special day is nature green, cream and white… so here’s what I did.
All the die cuts are Tim Holtz, include the flowers. The label is from nesties… the sentiment is from friskars. :), others from pti. The big doily is from Hambly :)…ooo not forgetting, check out my first time use of my Zutter, I embarrasing made an error… can you spot it?
Hope that they like it 🙂 and wish them all the happiness of the world :).
Did I tell you that I love Sunday even more now that I am working :)! Just enjoying the late morning, coffee with toasted bread with butter and bull eyes eggs.. 🙂 and to share with you a simple card I made yesterday based on the sketch. I have been busy crazy with my new job and personal stuff and events. My darling Meera, 14yrs german shepherd, who is down with serious infection, had fever for a couple of days, and didnt walk for days, just lying still. We had her admitted and she is on drip with low fever, and pus draining. She is looking slightly better when we visited her yesterday. I hope she comes back soon.. heart!
