Journal Making with the Boys :D

This is Rohan's completed 5X5 inch journal with personalised stamping to add that personal flavour. Paper is from Tim Holtz

Hiya peeps,

Just to share some pics of the journals made today in a craft class with two wonderful young guys… They enjoyed the session, I hope they do! πŸ™‚ totally made my day. πŸ˜€

We started by choosing covers… They love the grungy papers by Tim Holtz and both selected the world map page, Bishman decided to do the 8 X 8 inch size journal and Rohan decided a smaller one 5X5inch. From there, we started the paper cutting and preparing for the whole punching and operating the zutter. They made the covers and finally putting everything together.

Then comes the stamping… they wanted some personalisation…. so I had this brand new Gypsies stamps that are just perfect for them… The chose all the phrases that they had wanted, stamped it with different colours and unto the journal. We also learn the phrase of day… ” there is really no real mistake in art ”

So here are the pics.. They are both such wonderful, creative and intelligent boys, and have enjoyed very much working with them to make their very own, only in the world journals.

Heart you guys.. I enjoy the crafting time with you.. {heart}

Cheers… xxx

Signature Sentiment

One of my favorite sentiment {heart}

Hi peeps,

I am sharing with you a card today… by 365cards Day 301 Flashback Monday … I have chosen to do Day 29 Signature Sentiment as my challenge. The sentiment that I have chosen is beautiful and meaningful, to encourage me to continue to believe in myself, my potential and the courage to rise up to the challenge in new or unknown situations.. haha.. esp now, that I am on a crossroad, do I choose to go back to the corporate world, or do I choose a different path for myself…

Its a very simple kraft card, but dear to my heart. I hope you like this sentiment that I have chosen too πŸ˜€

Have a good day all πŸ™‚

Fab to Β play aunt to these gorgeous gals who likes nothing better than to craft with their aunty πŸ˜› .. Totally made my day! πŸ™‚

We did simple projects using punches.. they had wanted to play with my cuttlebug, zutter, stamps and inks, rummaging thru my craftroom… baby steps dearies, baby steps πŸ™‚

A little Christmas giftie for hubby..

Blessed Christmas… hope you are having a fabulous time :D!!!!

Just a short post to share a little Christmas gift that I got for my hubby… well.. he loves coffee and teh tarik (or so it is fondly called locally which means pulled milk tea πŸ™‚ ). And he had earlier gotten me a Starbucks tumbler to keep my coffee warm as I have a habit of letting a good hot cappuccino grow cold.. πŸ˜›

So, I got him a similar Starbucks tumbler with a twist.. hehehe.. This tumbler – it allows you to make your own crafty design for its cover.. and I made a Christmas themed cover. I can continue to change the look and feel of the tumbler depending on the season .. next up would be Valentine.. πŸ™‚

So here’s what I did… He loved it πŸ™‚ and I am grinning ear to ear πŸ™‚

Christmas themed tumbler - Lots of stamping using various stamps, embossing, punches and fussy cuts πŸ™‚
ornaments... minimise 3D effect, so as to ensure they fit properly in and around the tumbler

Making Christmas Gifts – Part 1

Hi peeps,

Using various elements cut outs from pp πŸ™‚

This year I decided not to buy Christmas gifties for family and close friends. Instead, I decided to make them from what I have from my craftroom lol. This is my First Go at Journal making, I did make quite a fair of bit of error in punching the holes, due to my lack of patience πŸ˜› and also, do first and read the manual attitude lol.

My First Handmade Journal πŸ™‚

Anyways, they are gifts for Christmas exchange that I attended last Saturday. I hope the persons getting them likes them :). I need to make more.. they are so fun…

My second try using Fabric for cover and light stamping πŸ™‚

Hugs to all. xxx
