Can you teach old dogs new tricks..

I am feeling a little, well, maybe, more than little bit frustrated… of using iMac at the moment… Being breathing in and out of Windows life for the longest time, my adjustment to using iMac has been slow and frustrating .. hahaha.. thus can you teach a hardcore Windows user like me to love Mac? A techy sweet valentine gift from hubby. Its really frustrating him to see how well I am adapting to the new babe! He loves it though.. me.. its growing on me I guess.. coz my Windows notebook died on me.:(

I am a fast worker at the Windows notebook and desktop, so that probably explain my frustration  in the pace of learning.. everything is So Different! This is second time typing this post, coz I don’t know how I have accidentally deleted it… along the way, just when I was posting the last pic and about to press publish… hmm I still do not know what I did wrong, or which “magic” button did I press!

anyways… back to happy news..

I awoke so very early this morning and I decided my crafting tools are too neglected and decided to make a card. I have been following Runway Inspired challenge site for awhile now and I love the open and elegant concept challenges. So I decided to have a play!

I hope you like this simple card. Its a combination of the inspired colors and collage confetti that I learnt playing 365 cards a few weeks ago. So if it looks familiar, not to worry, you can always use similar technique with a new twist. I wish I can learn this fast when it comes to iMac… hah!

Meanwhile I shall continue to play.. I am sorry I have yet come by and visit you.. coz this little toy is driving me a little nuts.. I am sure I will grow to love them.. so in the meantime.. thanks for dropping by.. hugs… !!!

Flourishes

Flourishes galore 🙂

Hi peeps,

Cant believe its end of Feb this week, feels like time has really passed me by.. 🙂

Today I share with you 365cards Monday challenge, and this week challenge calls for use of flourishes in your card, in fact, 3 different ways of using flourishes. Dont you love flourishes..

Can you spot how differently I have used flourishes here? 😀

It was fun playing this, making this little card. I hope you like it and make sure you pop on by 365cards and play!

Using a mix of 10 different patterned papers on your card :)

Hi peeps,

Today’s challenge at 365cards… was really a challenge for me hehehe. Although I have been hoarding tonnes of patterned papers, I hardly used them. I just love them lol. Do you feel the same way?

So, what I love about 365cards challenge, is that it constantly challenge me to come out of my comfort zone.. and this time the 365cards Monday challenge calls for the use of Terrific Ten.. different mix of patterned paper. And this is what I had come out with. They are all from the same paper pad, lovely Madeleine paper pad from Prima. I do quite like the look of the end product.. do you? 🙂

So come on by and play and its really a great time to take out your scraps and mix them up!

Happy week ahead :).. hugs.

A Confetti Card

stamped image and lined with lots of confetti
a simple heart confetti card 🙂

Hi peeps,

This is such a fab challenge over at 365 cards, and a chance to use all those little confettis from the punches, not having any,… not to worry – punch some then…  :). Day 350 calls for Confetti Card – create “Confetti” using a hole punch and incorporating it into your card design. Make sure you come by and play :). Here’s my fun take!!!

Hugs to all 🙂

An exciting afternoon

Love this Hero Arts stamp.. very simple card for beginners to try 🙂 A hot favorite at the demo

Hi peeps.

Just to share some cards that I have made for a demo session with the Malaysian Lupus Society yesterday. I felt honoured to be invited to share this passion of mine with the members. It was short but fun. The kids love it, and so does the adults, though many were shy :). So here are the pics..

Stamps by Unity.. a hot favourite among the boys.. esp love the background 🙂
Another favourite... though more time consuming for the fussy cut, they love this 3D happy card!

some of my lovely participants who enjoyed making their own card.. if only time permits for more {grin}
