Appreciation is the Memory of the Heart

Oh wow, its Sunday again. This week has been an interesting week, I went with  a couple of friends to support Bersih 3.o rally, an eventful day with mixed feelings on seeking a free and fair electoral reform in Kuala Lumpur. I will definitely share more in my next post.

I made this one layer card for this week Super Sketchy Challenge over at 365cards. I love combining elements from my various stamp set, making them more versatile and value worth :). Using various stamps from Papertrey ink and Clean and Simple for this card inspired by the lovely sketch by Pam M 🙂

A Masculine card for Super Sketchy Sunday :)

Hi peeps,

Its Sunday again :)… although I no longer work the corporate hours, still Sunday still feels like the extra special day.. its sunny and its a day of relaxation and get together. I do love Sundays… auto relax day 🙂

Today, I am also attending retreat.. “Power of Silence” and I felt I so need it, coz I always busied myself too much.. and never have that time alone to sit and be silent and to reflect. So, this retreat called out to me.. and I signed up for the two day retreat. The facilitator is from India and I hear he gives a good retreat on meditation… just what I need :).

I share with you a card I made… Masculine card for 365cards Super Sketchy Sunday challenge. It has been fun making this one. I always need a masculine birthday cards and I hardly ever make any… So I am glad I making some in advance…

So do come on by and play this fabulous sketch and checkout what other talented DT has created. Have a fantabulous sunny day!! hugs..

Celebrate Today and Always…

Many layers of cut out felt, with a button and twine bow 🙂 and a ribbon stem, stamped leaves
Love the stamped ribbon, background using a dried out Memento Angel pink ink 🙂

Hiya…

Just sharing with you a little card I made using the Memento Angel Pink ink. I was rather disappointed with ink, coz I love the color so much… it dried out on me after less 10 times of use! So I decided, I had to fully utilized whatever that is left and did the background smear tinge of the pink.. Kinda love it :).

I had decided to use my long forsaken cut out felts, and layer it. I love the new ribbons from Momoyo, that I had used for the stem of the flower. Just did very light stamping of leaves. and attached it all felt and ribbon to the card. Last but not least, I decided to stamp on the ribbon to overlay the flower. And kinda happy with the look.

This card is inspired by 365cards Day 49, Getting Inky challenge is to find at least 2 uses for that stamp pad.  Any color, any type of ink will do. Decided to play along… why don’t you hop over and play as well!! 🙂

Last but not least, to share with you a most interesting recipe that I chance upon, just by trying… hehehehe … have a great day!! 🙂

Love the surprising taste of this one I tried. After having my spicy tuna with pasta, I decided to put some over a rice cake, drizzled with cheese and parsley.. Love the sweet crunchiness with the light sourness, tuna and cheese.. yums!!!

Its a sunny sunday… and its Super Sketch Sunday over at 365cards

Hi peeps,

Weather here in Malaysia has been hot, hot and hot 🙂 and the rainy season had slowed down. Just last week we had tremors from the earthquake Northwest Sumatra, and for me, my highlights were for some exam papers that I had to go for.

I am always a last minute kinda gal…  I registered for the papers last month, but was rather busy with mum and was at my hometown. I got back last week just in time for a 3 days crash course studying of 600 pages of new info… I didn’t have the time to read the second paper at all till the morning of exam.. I barely scrapped through.. count my blessing that the exam was not very tough… thats a miracle.. so I have managed to pass my insurance and investment linked exams.. yippee…

Today I share with you a card. This card I made following the Super Sketchy Sunday sketch this week. Its a fabulous sketch, you ought to come by and play. I just love the way this sweet card turn out.. and its really for someone really special and dear to me… 🙂

Hope you like it and make sure you hop on by and play with us see what our fabulous 365cards Design Team creations 🙂
