Yesterday my iPad fell from the chair less than 2 feet high, and it refuses to boot up. RIP iPad. Was I sad, yes… but I guess, a blessing :). When the iPad came into my world, it conquered all my free time. I was suppose to do work with it, but heck games were more fun :p.. so it was good for that.

On a happy note.. hubby finally got an iPhone, after all my current phone had been hanging me for awhile, so when the iPad crashed, it was as good as anytime it will be! Double Valentine gift 😀

So today I share with you a card and I love how easy it is for me to make this card. Its a 10 minutes card. All the products used are from Sara Smeby Stampin’ Up products. I love the colour combo, the tags stickers, borders stickers and the butterfly and the ribbon. I love everything about it. Aint that cool.. Love! Thanks Sara Smeby for the lovely combo set. Project Life – A lil Christmas Party

Hi peeps,

I hope you have had a fabulous Chinese New Year celebrations or a good holidays for my Malaysian friends and readers. And lots of good food, get together with loved ones, catching up with old friends plus gifties cum Valentine celebrations yesterday.

As for me, I went back to my hometown Sitiawan, to help my mum in the market (she sells veggies, yes at this age 🙂 ) and to spend time with family. It was really fun but tiring, as it was scorching hot back home with occasional rain :).

However, for my Project Life today, I will be sharing today an after Christmas lil party where my angel nieces came by for a visit. I know it seems so far away, but it twas only a month and a half ago lol. Had such a lovely time with them. This two pages are all about their visit and the things that we did and enjoyed together. Precious! These pages are also published over at our local scrapbook store Papier Love.

I hope you enjoy them. 🙂 Thanks for dropping by… hugs 🙂

Love is in the Air

Love .closeup

Love is in the air ♥ and I am not only talking about the “usual” stereotyping of what love might be though it is the Valentine season :).

The Chinese around the world also celebrates the New Lunar Year, ie ushering the year of the Snake (zodiac sign) today! Firecrackers and fireworks can be heard at the stroke of midnight, warding off bad spirits and negative vibrations and ushering new hope for a better and more wonderful year… joys, love, happiness, good health and prosperity!

Chinese New Year card with “Spring” sentiment ( welcoming newness and blooms)

Families get together for a reunion dinner (yesterday) on the eve of New Year. Familial Love is abundance, and parents gifted their young with red packets and vice versa, children wishes their parents with phrases of goodwill, happiness and prosperity.

This morning I woke up to such sweet aroma of the preparation of the Long Life Noodles with Red Rice Wine Chicken, to usher in wishes for longevity and wishes for luck, abundance and prosperity.

So, to all my Chinese readers…. GONG XI FA CAI (Happy Prosperous New Year) wishing abundance of all that is good this coming year.

Back to my card.
