About Annie

Hi I am Annie LING, from the suburb of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

I am a people person, who aspires to live life to the fullest. I acknowledge my struggle and journey in life in pursuit of happiness and “being in the moment”. I love and follow the PRH – Personality, Human Relationship pedagogue programmes www.prh-international.org in my journey.

I love the many colours of life, crafting, writing Chinese calligraphy, cooking, travelling, reading, playing Scrabble (newest craze that I picked up from FB :p)and just being with people. I enjoy meeting people, sharing and learning new things that may broaden my horizon.

I am married to Bashker with no kids but blessed with 3 beautiful companions, Meera (12 years old German Shepherd), Miki (10 years old, kinda one of a kind mixed) and Chelsea, my latest adoption – (a year old Golden Retriever – so much of debate going on whether she is a retriever or a lab or mixed.. sigh)… I stand to my ground that she is my golden retriever :p

Thank you for visiting my blog, do drop me a comment or a note, so that I can hop over to your side of the world. For all who left your footnote in my blog {heart}, thank you for your sweet comments. Good day all… 🙂

  4. Hi! I’m new to WordPress, and I was just stumbling around reading random posts when I came across your blog. I have to say I’m amazed – you have a very good talent in arts that many would be very envious of ;P! Your cards are so beautiful, elegant and gorgeous!

I’ve no nimble fingers for arts and crafts, but lately I’ve been itching to try out a few things: photography, drawing, sketching and knitting (which has been a disaster O_O). When I saw your cards, the back of my mind that was always rearing its head at wanting to learn new things raised up – time for trouble!

Was it hard when you first started out making gift cards? Yours is lovely and refreshing, lifting people’s spirits with one simple gaze. How did you first started out? I’d Google myself, but I’d like to know how did you first came across this talent.

  5. Just wanted to say I was poking about in your blog today – seeing what you’ve been up to since my last visit – and, girl, you are just the cutest thing ever. I love your sweet face and your lovely spirit. Plus your adorable cards. {wink} Thanks for always playing along at 365 Cards!

  6. Hi Annie – I came to visit your blog today and just want to let you know that I love your work. Your cards are beautifully designed and made. Have fun with your lovely Chelsea, Golden Retrievers are very special! I’ll be back soon.

  9. Hi Annie,

I frequently search the net for Foochow but only discover your blog when I google “foochow food blog” today. Your site was displayed at the very top.

I am a Foochow too and am proud of it too. I am a Hockchiu (Minqing in pinying) from Sibu. I bet that you are a Hockchiang (Fuqing in pinyin) from Kampung Koh, Perak.

Currently, I am working in Papua New Guinea in the logging industry. Surprise of surprise, most of the mainland Chinese here are from Fuqing and they do speak in a different tone. When you read the newspapers about the anti-Asian riots here in PNG, you can bet that the victims are mostly our fellow Foochow.

  10. Hi Annie,

Finally I found your blog 🙂
Nice knowing you in Papier Love.
I like your blog! and loving your spirit in card-making.
Would love to take part in some of the sketches challenge you have in your link.
I will check it out….don’t worry.

Nice to meet you again and hoping to catch up more here or in person.

    Have a good week ahead!
