Hello

Using Owen in the Flower Pot 🙂

Hi peeps,

Its Easel Card this week at Sew Many Cards challenge #52, and it has been such a fun project for me… and this is my First Easel card project :), and its easier than you think.. if you have not made one before… you can check this tutorial here on how to make an easel card. Easy peasy.

This is also my last outing as SMC Design Team. I am sad to leave the team, but I am finding difficulty to meet cards deadlines due to work. It has been such a great time working with Angela, Deanette, Mari, Radwa, and the rest of the team, cant believe its more than six months now. Such a fab team. I love you guys and will come by and play every now and then :).

Remember to come by and play your Easel card with us this week :). Laters ….

ps   I am so very excited to have friends over at my home to play along, and play my dies…. yeah! I have a whole bunch of them lol :). okie.. gotta go and clean up my house and craft room… ciao!

About this card

I had used Owen in the Flower Pot digi, printed, coloured and trimmed it. I adhere it over doily (pti) and adhered to a stamped polka dot background (pti), layered it to a brown cardstock, over pp and adhered them to the plain art card base. For the inner layout, I had laced the border (friskars) over the stamped border (Wplus9) on pp. This allows the front of the card to stand (border punch layer as the holder).

Jovie with Girl

Hi peeps…. Its ANYTHING GOES this week at Sew Many Cards Challenge.
For this week.. I have used SMC  Jovie with girl digi stamp, arent they adorable. I printed it, coloured in copics and piece it. I have decided to keep the card sweet and simple and I love this pp from Jack and Jill collection from Prima. The sentiment is from Penny Black.  This one is for of my cute niece, whose birthday is just round the corner.

Thanks for dropping by and hop over to SMC CHallenge this for Anything Goes.. hugs.

Monkey Business

Hi peeps..

I love the topic.. dont ya.. 🙂 Well.. its Friday again, and its MONKEY BUSINESS at Sew Many Cards Challenges this week.  I had most fun playing with this digi, Miki the Monkey, such a cutie.  Had so much fun.

I had distressed the background using old paper/scattered straw (Rangers distressed inks) and stamp the background with the leaves (ink – Conch Shell, Rangers as well). I had then stamped the branches (tea leaves by Versamagic) and the rope using chestnut roan (Chalk). I had pieced and cut out Miki and adhered with foam tape. Last but not least the sentiment for it. Used tracing wheel to add a bit stitch marks and brads. Kinda cute, dont ya think.

So hope on by.. and do monkey around with us, won’t ya! Have a great weekend…..

PS…The WINNER for the cute Digi images from my last week post of SMC Jan Birthday Blog Hop is ….

yaay.. congrats to …..  Shirl …… I will send both the digi image to you….  🙂

Christmas letters

Christmas letters..

I remember as a child, loving the Christmas season, for its decoration. My grandma would make us put up all the Christmas trinklets of gold, silver, blue, green and red and all the ruffles. We lived in a large old shophouse that has grown with age, and practicality rules the day!. We would put up our silver Christmas tree ( I think its the only one in town, for it was brought in by my nursing aunt who worked in London). We would put all the Christmas cards received on string (talk about banners of cards :p) hovering over our sofa set and wall. We always looked forward to our Christmas mails from aunties across the sea, pen pals from around the world.. small but wonderful treats for us then … I am still smiling 🙂

Today I share this card using Sew Many Cards (SMC) digi – Letter with Berries, reminding me of all these childhood memories of Christmas and today.. since I started crafting, I have received many happy mails (from crafters and craft companies :p) fills me with such delight. 😀

This week its SMC Challenge is ANYTHING GOES.. do drop by and join us for crafting during this festive season.

Blessed Christmas everyone. Hugs to you all. Thanks for all your love 🙂

Hugs… .Annie

Noel

Hi peeps.. Its Friday .. and yes! it play time at Sew Many Card Challenges! And this week is Winter……

Do you see winter on the card. 🙂 I had actually wanted to make a winter scene on the gorgeous dark blue cardstock.. but I had misted it too much.. ha! talk about gentleness and preciseness when crafting.. :p.. I am a little rough on the edge, still needs a fair bit of polishing and patience :).

I had used Penny Black to create the background little scene, misted it.. and stamped snow and Noel (can you see it :p). I had used Imaginisce pp to layer it and gave it a ribbon tie, to finish off the snowflake (slice) and button with the bakers twine. Last but not least.. heart this cutie image from Sew Many Cards Shop. Isnt the angel looking so sweet, shy and angelic.. the perfect messenger of the good news!!! They are offering huge discounts on the images right up to Christmas. Angela, the site and digi owner, has a son that requires a lot of medical attention. Make sure you don’t miss the discount deals and support if you can.

Okie dokie.. gotta to go.. make sure you hop on over to Sew Many Cards Challenge and join us for the winter themed creations :).
