Just a short post to share some cards that I made and are on the way out.. to my family mostly! Chinese New Year is next Monday, I hope they will receive it on time.. I stamped the envelopes to go with them.
My mood has been topsy turvy of late, I have been on new meds.. my body is changing, and so are my moods.. I hope they settle down.. poor hubby. A lot new exciting things are happening, but I do hope my mood settles.

Its sunny out here in Malaysia, the rainy season has gone, days are now sunny, hot and humid. A perfect day for going out, no? Well, generally, we here, are a little shy of the sunshine.. always under the umbrella when we ladies are out, or we stay closed in air conditioning rooms or office that may equal cool temperatures of the west. An ex Aussie colleagues remarked, I dont even wear sweaters when I was in Sydney.. teehee.. yeah, office here are darn cold, you may need a sweater and pull over at work, otherwise.. you will have brain freeze!
This card was really fun to make. I made it for 365cards challenge today of using scraps and I have plenty. I love this Penny Black Hello Friend stamps and I decided paper piecing. The challenge calls for the use of at least 3 different patterned paper and 2 cardstocks. I also did copic coloring over them. A chance for you to play and use your scraps… come by and play

Shape card – Baby decorated with pti cut out doilies, pti baby dress felt cut out, grossgrain pink ribbon, buttons, lace and tag.
I made this for a full moon gathering that I attended. I love the shape of this card and its just perfect for the occasion don’t ya think? I had used pink and white polka dots to follow the card shape. and line it with doily punches for the laced collar. I used lace and ribbon for the waist area and added on some simple embellishments.
Its for baby Xania and she a month old and just adorable.
Hubby and I got this pressie for her and instead of the usual card in the envelope, I had decided to take tie this card to the pressie using the divine twine. It gives it a lovely touch, no?
Card tied to the present with yummy divine twine. Block alphabet for the baby's name on the card. Cute ain't it?
Card attached to pressie. I would have love a lesser busy background, hubby chose the wrapper whilst I was busy craft shopping :p

Just a short post to share my first Chinese New Year card that I made this morning, still bugged by my worsening flu. In fact I am so late in the cards.. I will be out of town next week onwards, travelling back home to spend some time with my parents and family back in my hometown for the Chinese New Year celebrations on 23rd Jan 2012.
So gotta get these going. Since I am running out of time.. I will keep similar designs :p

I am sharing with you my first card this year… 365cards challenge of using Blue and Polka Dots on your card. So this is what I have created. I made this for a friend of mine, who is also my chiropractor . Her birthday is coming soon, real soon!

Just to share some pics of the journals made today in a craft class with two wonderful young guys… They enjoyed the session, I hope they do! totally made my day. 
We started by choosing covers… They love the grungy papers by Tim Holtz and both selected the world map page, Bishman decided to do the 8 X 8 inch size journal and Rohan decided a smaller one 5X5inch. From there, we started the paper cutting and preparing for the whole punching and operating the zutter. They made the covers and finally putting everything together.
Then comes the stamping… they wanted some personalisation…. so I had this brand new Gypsies stamps that are just perfect for them… The chose all the phrases that they had wanted, stamped it with different colours and unto the journal. We also learn the phrase of day… ” there is really no real mistake in art “
So here are the pics.. They are both such wonderful, creative and intelligent boys, and have enjoyed very much working with them to make their very own, only in the world journals.
Heart you guys.. I enjoy the crafting time with you.. {heart}

I am sharing with you a card today… by 365cards Day 301 Flashback Monday … I have chosen to do Day 29 Signature Sentiment as my challenge. The sentiment that I have chosen is beautiful and meaningful, to encourage me to continue to believe in myself, my potential and the courage to rise up to the challenge in new or unknown situations.. haha.. esp now, that I am on a crossroad, do I choose to go back to the corporate world, or do I choose a different path for myself…

Just sharing some pics of my nieces who came by on Christmas Day for a visit, spent the afternoon crafting with nieces and a hundred Aunty Annie ringings through my sweet ears.. Fab to play aunt to these gorgeous gals who likes nothing better than to craft with their aunty .. Totally made my day!
We did simple projects using punches.. they had wanted to play with my cuttlebug, zutter, stamps and inks, rummaging thru my craftroom… baby steps dearies, baby steps
